have been involved with.
PROJECT: ACE WINCHES
OFFSHORE EUROPE 2009
ACE Winches designed and
manufactured a show piece called the Muscleometor
for there stand at offshore Europe 2009. This
project was used at there stand to show to show what
sort of work they do and its main purpose was to
raise money for the Childrens Hospice Association
Scotland charity.
The ACE Winches Muscleometer worked using
hydraulics, whereby the wheel drives a pump against
an orifice to create a pressure drop. The pressure
drop is seen at the winch hydraulic motor which is
used to create force at the winch to lift the load.
Our part in this project involved working with the
ACE Winches design team where we worked together
throughout the project.
We then manufactured all the Perspex screens and the
Stainless Steel plates for this project. Our
responsibilities included working with the design
team, manufacturing all the components, ensuring all
the component deadlines were met and delivering the
final product to our customer.
PROJECT: ABERDEEN GRAIN
SIGNAGE
Aberdeen Grain extended there plant
with the addition of a new grain dryer and grain
stores which resulted in new extra signs required.
We were involved with site meetings where we offered
our advice and recommendations to our customers,
design & layout of signs, manufacturing the signs
and delivering the final product with deadlines met.
In this project the Welcome signs were designed by
another company where we had to sort out the correct
Art work files to be supplied to us.
